SUMMARY:Electoral Board Meeting
DESCRIPTION:This is a called meeting of the Electoral Board for the purpose of <span style="text-decoration: underline;">performing an inventory only</span> of the provisional ballots that have been received from the special election.&nbsp; This will enable the Board to deliver these envelopes to the Registrar's office to begin processing first thing Wednesday morning before the Provisional Ballot Meeting commences.&nbsp; The Registrar has only until the close of business on Friday to process all of the same day registration envelopes, which in the last election comprised 86% of the ~1200 provisional ballots.&nbsp; The Provisional Ballot Meeting and the Canvass of Results will proceed as planned on Wednesday, April 22 at noon.&nbsp; This meeting will commence sometime in the neighborhood of 9:00pm, and will finish within one hour as it will already have been a long day. The beginning time will be shortly after the last delivery of materials back from the polling places.&nbsp; The meeting will not be available on Zoom.
