Join Albemarle County staff online for our fourth AC44 Lunch & Learn event on Thursday, April 24, from 12-1 pm. We’ll start with a brief presentation followed by an extended Q&A period. The presentation will focus on two chapters: Housing and Community Facilities. Community members will learn more about the following:

How we are planning for and encouraging a variety of housing options: Learn about the topics addressed in the Housing chapter and how this chapter relates to Housing Albemarle, the County's housing policy.
How the County and partner agencies and organizations plan for equitable and cost-effective services and facilities, consistent with the Growth Management Policy: Learn about how we plan for the needs of current and future community members, including for public water and sewer, public schools, solid waste, and libraries.
Overarching Goal, Objectives, and Actions for both chapters: Learn what we want our community to be like in 2044, what we need to achieve to get there, and how we will implement the Comp Plan.
Future Engagement and Feedback Opportunities: Understand how to stay engaged and provide feedback on the Comprehensive Plan and upcoming steps in the draft document rollout.
